The Vulnerability of our Nakedness
Why are we afraid of our own nudity when in the presence of others? When we are fully naked people see the real us along with any imperfection making us vulnerable. Why, we are all naked underneath?
In life, we all wear protective armor, our daily uniform. Our daily uniform symbolizes our identity to others who surround us. But, underneath all the facade and protective layers we adorn, we are all naked. Our naked body, when in the presence of others, shows our true vulnerability. There is no place to hide; our bodies are on full display and subject to criticism, humiliation, and judgment.
Others often tell me that they could not ever imagine allowing friends, family, or strangers to see them naked. When I ask why, they are unsure, but after a pause, they will remark about a self-perceived imperfection they see in themselves and the potential judgment they would be subjected to.
As a man, I fear other men may have more muscle tone than me, that other men may be more fit and have less body fat, they may have firmer skin than my aging body, and their dick will be bigger than mine. I will never have a perfect body, but I can be content and happy with the body I have.
We are all filled with insecurities. From water bras to bulge-enhancing boxer shorts, we all see ourselves critically. When the lights are on, and we stand in front of other people, we are most vulnerable. But everybody, regardless of size or shape, is beautiful and a work of art. As the old saying goes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Lose your inhibitions and go naked today. The freedom will open a whole new world for you.
We all at times have some insecurities about being nude with others. However the more we are the more confident we are and the realaztion sinks in that none of it matters, just be ourselves. Go and enjoy life nude with others as much as possible and true friendships quickly develope. It's best life ever.
