Photographing Men au naturel (NSFW)

A sample of some of the photographs I have been fortunate to shoot showcasing the beauty of the male body in all its glory and splendor.

As an amateur photographer, I have been fortunate to photograph many men over the years. The quality of my images is due to the men who posed for me and brought our pictures to life. Their talent shows through each of these pictures.

None of these gentlemen are professional models; they have day jobs and enjoy modeling and creating art in their free time as their schedule permits.

I have always felt that creating a good image requires collaboration between the model and the photographer. I have been privileged to have so many different men feel comfortable with me to expose themselves fully nude and to allow me the honor of capturing their image.

For many of these men, this was their first time modeling or posing for somebody taking their picture au naturel. It takes a level of trust between artists to bare oneself.

I always respect a man's limits regarding sharing his image or including his face in any pictures I publish. I never ask a model to undress, but I tell them before we begin shooting that they are free to change their wardrobe or show as little or as much of themselves as they desire.

All of my photoshoots are done on a TFP basis, which stands for Time for Print. Neither I nor the model is paid or compensated for the shoot. After the shoot, we review the images, and I send the model home with a CD containing all of their image files to use as they desire. I also keep all images unless previously discussed for my use.

During a shoot, I will offer direction for poses I think will have artistic appeal, and I always provide to capture any image or pose that the model wants to be taken. It is a true collaboration.

I have photographed men from 30 to 83 years old. Most have included nude photographs, some exclusively for their own personal collection. I have photographed men with their wives, partners, and even while engaged in intimate acts. I strive to shoot images with artistic components. I am honored to have photographed every man who has posed in front of my camera.

Each man’s body is distinct. While we all view ourselves critically when naked, I work to create scenes that illustrate the magnificence and grandeur of every man’s body. The images above depict some of the men I have been honored to have pose for me.

I posed for mature photographers for many years, and most of the men I posed for were artists who created beautiful works that I look back on fondly. I hope that I took something from each of those talented men and can make something unique that men I shoot can treasure for a lifetime. I am always looking for men interested in having pictures taken of themselves as keepsakes to look back on.
