A few years ago, while traveling for business, I found myself away from home for six weeks, staying at a nice suite hotel in downtown Washington, D.C. One weekend, I decided to use my frequent flyer miles to bring my wife up to D.C. for a visit. She flew in on Thursday afternoon and took the Metro to my hotel, so she was already there when I returned from the office that day. I had arranged to take the following Friday off so we could explore the sights together.
Each evening, my colleagues and I would gather in the lobby bar to debrief about our day and prepare for the next, all while updating our project planners. After she and I both took showers, she put on a short black cocktail dress and a pair of heels to join us. I introduced her to the other four members of my team, and we enjoyed appetizers and a few cocktails while chatting together.
After our meeting concluded, we made our way to my suite, which was spacious and inviting, featuring a cozy living area and a separate bedroom. The other guys were confined to standard hotel rooms, but my suite provided a perfect space for us to unwind. As we settled in and began chatting, my wife slipped off her stylish heels with a sigh, commenting that she couldn't understand how women could endure wearing them all day. To get comfortable, she gracefully pulled her dress over her head, letting it fall to the floor.
At that moment, I noticed the group’s attention shifting toward the hallway beside the kitchen. Curiosity sparked in the air as I saw everyone pull out their phones, eager to capture the spontaneous scene unfolding before them. The atmosphere buzzed with energy, a blend of laughter and camaraderie as we all soaked in the relaxed, yet lively, vibe of the evening.
I confidently explained to my colleagues that my wife and I are naturists. Their curiosity led to a flurry of questions and a few offhand comments. My wife, noticing the surprise, decided to grab a hotel robe from the bathroom, even though the guys reassured her that she didn't need to cover up. Very nice reading. We too have had similar experiences with us both being exposed to various business associates at one time or another multiple times. It was more by accident than on purpose since we both home officed our seperate businesses.
There were a a few times when we both intentionly knew some one was dropping by and didn't tell the other and allowed our guest or guests to see us unaware most times.
You are correct, even now there still are some fun comments and conversations that come up from the lucky voyeurs both male and female.
Not a single one of them ever complianed.
